I enabled logging of loading the plugins in the config file and restarted nessusd hoping to see errors/warnings to get a clue what's going on but all I see is 517 plugins loaded and nessusd starting cleanly.
Have you checked for problems in your filesystem(s)? How many plugins to you have in your plugins directory? Run "nessusd -s | fgrep plugins_folder" to make sure you're looking at the same directory nessusd is. Can you determine from the logs some plugins that are not being loaded and see whether you can view those manually as root?
Is there anything else controlling what plugins are loaded or a way I can debug this?
strace.
Does the client have anything to do with it?
nessusd is having trouble loading the plugins, right? Then the client has nothing to do with it. George -- theall@tenablesecurity.com _______________________________________________ Nessus mailing list Nessus@list.nessus.org http://mail.nessus.org/mailman/listinfo/nessus
