I am using Suse 10 and the latest Nessus. I use the NessusClient 1.0.0 GUI to do everything. Now if I use Nessus to scan against our Cisco concentrator it wont find any ports open, I use a range of 1-8000. If I use Nmap it comes back with port 1723 as being open which is correct. With Nmap I use: nmap -v -sS -P0 <ip address> and get this result: (The 1662 ports scanned but not shown below are in state: filtered) PORT STATE SERVICE 1723/tcp open pptp Why is Nessus not picking this up, I just use the Nessus port scanner.
