nessus-update-plugins and proxy

I am trying to configure Nessus to use a Proxy. I put the following:

Proxy=proxy.acme.com

In the nessus-update-plugins config file. I am getting the following error when 
I try to update the plugins. I am running Nessus 2.2.6 on AIX 5.3


../nessus-update-plugins[153]: 29118 Memory fault(coredump)
Could not retrieve the plugins MD5
Aborting


Any ideas?
