We though about implementing something like this. 
However, obsolete C plugins are overwritten by ".nes" files that just
do nothing -- when you upgrade.


I see. And the C plugins come with the scanner itself, not with the
plugin feed?

Not as far as I know, but there is an enhanced version of
nessus_tcp_scanner in 2.2.6


I'll consider upgrading, but at the moment it means that I need to go
through a tedious permission process with the owner of the network :-/
