No, because this directory contains .nes C plugins that cannot be
downloaded by nessus_update_plugins

I see. In that case, nessus should have a list of obsoleted plugins
that should be removed and issue warnings if one of these plugins is
found.

Just remove nmap*.nes 

Are there other obsolete plugins which should be removed?
