Hmm, a response code of 2002 isn't right... Run the following command:

  nessus-fetch --url http://www.nessus.org/ test

Is there a file named "test" in the current directory? If so, open it in
a web browser; is it a copy of the nessus.org website minus graphic
images and stylesheets?
