Not to through gas on a fire, but in trying to get nessus 2.2.6 to run
on a mac (tiger) I was NOT able to use the sources, nor able to use the

(it did install, but when I tried to run nessus command line, it
complained about an incompatible version of AppleWM)

I did install (and use Tlsv1) by:

ports install gtk2

ports install nessus-plugins

Editing /opt/local/etc/nessus/nessusd.conf and commenting the sslv3
line.
