I have Nessus 3.0 running on FC4. The install went OK and I have scanned several systems without any problems. I have it configured for the auto_update. Every time it runs the update, the nessusd is not re-started.

I am not behind a proxy, and I have confirmed the update is successful.
What do you mean by "not re-started"? Does nessusd die, continue to run, or something else? Is anything logged in nessusd.messages when the update takes place?
