I have install Nessus 3.0.0 on a Debian GNU/Linux 3.1 machine, and I am trying to register the product so that I can download plugins. I keep getting an error and I am new to Linux and am having problems determining what is causing my error, can you please help. When I use the following command; /opt/nessus/bin/nessus-fetch --register myactivationcode I get the following error; Unknown error while decoding HTTP response (HTTP error code = -1208501499) Please help me get this up and running.
