Q. Which version of Nessus are you using?
A. # nessusd -v
     nessusd (Nessus) 2.2.6 for Linux

Q. Are you enabling plugin dependencies?
A. from my .nessusrc file..
    auto_enable_dependencies = yes
    silent_dependencies = yes

Q. And is smb_hotfixes.nasl actually being launched
against the target (ie, look for it in
nessusd.messages)?

A. [Thu Dec 15 10:39:40 2005][8125] user xxx : Not
launching smb_hotfixes.nasl against xx.xx.xx.xx
because the key SMB/registry_access is missing (this
is not an error)

Thanks,
jsk
