Paul,

you can add -vv with nessus-update-plugings to display more verbose and
let cron mail it to you.
Errors will be displayed.

Otherwise you can make a script that will check the total of files
before update and diff them after update. (note updates will not be
released every day)

Regards,

Ferdy

Hello list,

I seem to have a successful, working installation of Nessus on Debian.
I’ve installed the cron job to automatically update, and at an odd time
so I don’t add to the load problem. ;) My question though, is how do I
verify that the update was successful?

Thanks

Paul
