How can I reduce number of scanned ports??I'm not clear... where exactly are you specifying these options and which client are you using? Also, If you've modified nessusd.conf, have you restarted nessusd after that?
I use:
-Nessus Scaner version 2.2.6 for Linux, runed on
Slackware Linux
-Nessus Console for Windows 1.4.5
-Nessus Client for Linux
I added to "nessusd.conf" line:
"unscanned_closed = yes"
I restarted nessusd after that.
I tried to run Nessus TCP scan with "Specyfi Range"
field set to "10001". Nessus scaned all known services
and port 10001. How can I reduce number of scanned
port?
