How soon is this happening? as we internally are using High/Low/ Medium and would like to lay out a plan to move the CVSS.

This is happening over time. New (remote) plugins have this, and we're going thru the older plugins to refine their description and CVSS score. As you can imagine, this is a big task.

However I was not really clear in my last statement : we're keeping High/Medium/Low ratings and add CVSS next to it as it's more precise.

The metric is :
 CVSS score == 0 -> Risk Factor: None
 CVSS score >= 1 && <= 2 -> Risk Factor: Low
 CVSS score > 2  && <= 6 -> Risk Factor: Medium
 CVSS score >= 7 && <= 9 -> Risk Factor: High
 CVSS score == 10 -> Risk Factor: Critical
