Bad UDP Checksum on Mac Mini running Linux Gentoo

Subject: Bad UDP Checksum on Mac Mini running Linux Gentoo
Date: Fri, 23 Sep 2005 09:37:05 -0700 (PDT)
Hello All,

While looking into an issue with scanning, I noticed bad udp
checksums (as reported by tcpdump) for SNMP traffic. These
checksum issues were true for any UDP traffic (SNMP, 9101 printer
probe, etc). Caught TCP checksums, though, were reported okay. I
can look into this further, but I'm guessing an endianess issue?
It's a Linux Gentoo system [1] running on a Mac Mini PPC box.

Jon
