Dan,

The following contains a couple ways to get nessus onto mac os x. I  
have done both and with one exception during the compile of the  
nessus executable, it was easy.

The exception was that I needed to include
     -lglib-2.0 -lgobject-2.0 -lgdk-x11-2.0

for the compile of the nessus executable
