Update on bug 1284

Subject: Update on bug 1284
Date: Tue, 16 Aug 2005 13:12:50 -0400
I incorrectly identified having redundant plugins on the server as the
possible root cause of the duplicate Preference entries on the client. I
launched the Nessuswx client this morning and had duplicate preferences
again.

However, I was able to get single preferences on the Nessuswx client by
killing the Nessus processes on the server and restarting the daemon.

So, it looks like a bug after all.

My configuration:

Nessus 2.2.5 on SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 9, all the latest patches
and updates.

Nessuswx on Windows XP SP2

Thanks.
