Anyone know how to get the older release? I need to have something working
quickly.

Removing the plugin cache doesn't work. I did manage to reinstall from
source which just gave me new errors. After uninstalling once again from
installer script I recorded some errors in the installation. Don't know if
this helps any.

This is apparently a bug in 2.2.5. Until it's fixed with 2.2.6 (due out
sometime after this week), try removing the plugins cache directory
(/usr/local/lib/nessus/plugins/.desc) and restarting nessusd.

If I do an update that doesn't error out.

Would you explain what you mean by this?
