What do you mean exactly by "cannot locate the device"? Does it think
the host is dead or just not report it as an access point? The thread
Jeff pointed you to should help if the latter. Otherwise, which port
scanner(s) are you using? What port range have you configured for your
scan? And which ports are actually open on the access point?
