nessusWX crashing

Every time I'm connected to my Slackware 10 nessus server via my 
NessusWX client on Windows 2000 Pro SP4, the client crashes when I 
attempt to do anything in the plugin area.

For example, I'll connect, then I'll go to Communications > Plugin List 
.. for one, I don't see anything in here, its empty.  Then I try moving 
the drop down "Group Plugins By" to something else and it crashes.  Any 
suggestions are appreciated.

Again, this is a standard install of nessus on the Slackware server.  I 
havent added anything additional and I have yet to scan anything
