Nessus client hangs while running from command line

Hi All,
 
I am running nessus server and client on ubuntu Linux. I have an issue
with running nessus on command line. When I run nessus GUI client with
default options the scan completes in 3-4 minutes. However when I run
nessus command line client, it runs for 30 minutes and hangs for another
30 minutes before it exits. My target machine list contains just one
host that runs on Solaris 2.8. Here is the command used to run the
nessus client.
 
nessus -V -T nbe -c .nessusrc <nessus_host> 1241 knoppix knoppix
nessus_targets nessus_result.nbe
 
The standard output from nessus contains list of port scans followed by
attacks. The tail of standard output is as follows:
 
attack|<target host ip>|1715|1905
attack|<target host ip>|1753|1905
attack|<target host ip>|1791|1905
attack|<target host ip>|1829|1905
attack|<target host ip>|1867|1905
attack|<target host ip>|1905|1905

 
I tried running it 4 times with some changes to config file (such as
port range 1-65535), and the client hangs at this place every time. The
GUI client completed successfully every time.
 
Any hints to solve this problem will be very helpful.
