Hi,
I get the following o/p upon giving this command :
# ./nessus-config --cflags --libs
-I/usr/local/include/nessus -DNESSUS_ON_SSL -DHAVE_SSL
-I/usr/local/include -I/usr/local/include/openssl -L/usr/local/lib
-lnessus -lhosts_gatherer -lpcap-nessus -lnsl -lsocket -lresolv
-L/usr/local/lib -lssl -lcrypto -ldl

These libraries are for OpenSSL. Do you have them installed? What does
