Wrong systems detection

Subject: Wrong systems detection
Date: Tue, 21 Jun 2005 09:43:06 +0200
Hi,
I have one question about running Nessus
When finished host scanning I see in report different values against the
real.
There's wrong description of some servers : wrong releases of Apache,
PHP, Postfix, even Mysql server is wrong. Nessus gave me some older
version values of these systems
Don't you know what does it mean ? Cause for this moment is Nessus
unreliable
Thanx a lot for an answers.
I'm using:

nessusd -d
This is Nessus 2.2.4 for Linux 2.4.21-99-default
compiled with gcc version 3.3.1 (SuSE Linux)
Current setup :
        nasl : 2.2.4
        libnessus : 2.2.4
        SSL support : enabled
SSL is used for client / server communication
        Running as euid : 0
