No IPS. Just a clean Windows XP with SP1 (no SP2). No Labrea

Labrea would run on another machine. It listens to ARP requests, then
answers after a 3 s timeout. i.e. it appears where there are no live
machines.

BTW, I can't get it whi people say that LaBrea stands for "tarpit". In
spanish "La Brea" means "The Tar" or "The Asphalt"; where does the "pit" or
"pond" thing comes from I have no idea.

Because it was a tar pit. Calling it the "tar tar pit" is not great,
but this kind of mistake is common when place names are translated.
