Nessus is distributed as source. If you want the current version, and it
seems like you might need it, you can either download and compile it yourself
-- see
<http://www.nessus.org/download/> -- or wait until the Debian package
maintainers catch up.
yes, i know that exists the version 2.2.4 but unfortunately i'm not very
expencied with Linux and compiles the source code. I think that i will wait
that the Debian package maintainers release this update.
NB: if you decide to do it yourself, make sure you have the
GTK and OpenSSL development packages.

Thank you, but unfortunately i will wait.>Really???? The --url option has been
in nessus-fetch since its initial version, I believe. What does the command
help say?
The help display:nessus-fetch --plugins --helpUsage: nessus-fetch
--pluginsUsage: nessus-fetch --plugins-md5Usage: nessus-fetch --register
<serial>Usage: nessus-fetch --checkUsage: nessus-fetch --url <url> <localfile>
[<http_login> <http_password>]
Another thing: i try to update the plugins with the command : nessus-fetch
--plugins and then i decompress and de-unzip the file .tar.gz and then the
window of registration is not displayed. But if i reboot the machine, the
window reapper. Why?
