| Subject: | NetBIOS checks on NT - problem? |

Hello, I need to scan a host for common NBT problems on tcp/139. All SMB/NBT plugins "script_require_ports(139, 445)" - but 445 isn't open on this host (NT host). I assume there are issues when scanning 139 and 445 at the same time (hence the no_simul_ports directive). Do these issues imply that we need 445 open to test 139 effectively? I realize I can turn off optimize_test - but I would rather not. Thanks! -- Brent _______________________________________________ Nessus mailing list Nessus@list.nessus.org http://mail.nessus.org/mailman/listinfo/nessus
