Hi, I seem to be having a problem with nessus when it comes to running command-line scans. I have a script set to include a large list of IP addresses in excess of 300-500. When nessus begins the scan of these hosts, I look in nessusd.messages and it looks as though nessus is truncating the file and only including a specific number. Is anyone aware of a maximum number of individual hosts in a file that can be included in a scan? My syntax is as follows: nessus \ --output-type=nbe \ --config-file=/usr/local/nessus/primary.May.scan1 \ --batch-mode 172.23.16.5 1241 username password \ /usr/local/apache/scan/create-main/running/cr-1528/cr-svrs-20May05-1037 \ /usr/local/apache/htdocs/states/cr/critical/cr-svrs/done/nbe/cr-svrs-20May05-1037.nbe The file: cr-svrs-20May05-1037 is the file that contains currently 505 hosts. Any advice that anyone can provide is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Chris
