What's "WEB instruction"? Does this mean you're compiling by hand rather than using the nessus-installer?
but when I try and start 'nessusd' I get loads of messages saying "http_func.inc: No such file or directory" along with others with "*.inc*. It might have something to do with the fact the "make install" for the plugins never finishes...
The fact that plugin installation wasn't successful would certainly explain the trouble you're having with the include files when starting nessusd. So, what error messages, if any, do you see when trying to install the plugins? If not, what do you see?
