Running nessusd on a (mostly) readonly system.

Subject: Running nessusd on a (mostly) readonly system.

Hello,

I just upgraded to nessus 2.0.12 on a system that runs mostly from CD:
only /var, /root and /etc are writable at all - and changes to those
are not persistent.

That brings up two issues:

1: When I try to run nessusd, it prints oodles of errors:
Error in plugin_unlink - args == NULL
It appears that the fact that /usr/lib/nessus is not writable is an
issue for nessusd. If so, is making it writable the only solution?

2: I registered for the extended set of plugins. Where on my system is
the registration information stored? I would hate going through the
registration process only to lose the information with my next reboot.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
