Silly question... Have you verified that the conversion also
fails if you invoke nessus directly rather than through your
script? 

I don't know where else to look for obtaining html_graphs
again from the normal scan of all 350 ips.

It might be interesting to use strace, truss, or an
equivalent to trace program execution while doing the
conversion. If you're not up to it, you're welcome to send
me *privately* the problematic NBE file and I'll
investigate.
