However, when running Nessus, every report warns me
about a swat vulnerability even when samba is not
installed. The warning appear as a general/icmp message
saying

The remote host is affected by the vulnerability described
in GLSA-200407-21 (Samba: Multiple buffer overflows)

The text is from 'gentoo_GLSA-200407-21.nasl' in your
plugins directory. What's the revision number of the plugin
(look inside the file)? And what is its md5sum?

Also, can you run the following command and post / reply
with the output?

  find /usr/local/lib/nessus/plugins/.desc -type f -exec
fgrep -l GLSA-200407-21 {} \;

Change "/usr/local/lib/nessus/plugins" to whereever your
plugins are installed if necessary.
