What does Niko and Hydra give Nessus? Are they worth installing?

Concerning Nessus installation, I used to completely uninstall old
version and install new. No config information saved. I never had
installation problem following this rule. I use Nessus installer as
well. I believe that most of installation problems come form an attempt
to save previous configuration, and independent compiling Nessus files.

If I already have Nessus Installed, do I need to do a nessus-uninstall
command if I want to upgrade to 2.2.4?

I also what to install NMAP and any program that helps nessus.

Is there a special way to do this... or can I simply download the rpm
from insecure.org, install it, and than reinstall nessus?

Or can I simply do lynx -source http://install.nessus.org
<http://install.nessus.org/> | sh

Without uninstalling first?

Also when I do this, I'm going to have to re-register and enter a new
activation key right?
