By any chance, are you using a Solaris 10 beta build along
with GCC 3.3.2 from sunfreeware.com? If so, there likely are
some conflicts between the system headers and those adapted
by GCC. These conflicts aren't related to Nessus per se,
which means that you're likely to encounter them with other
software you build from source too. Supposedly, the
conflicts can be cleared up by running: 

 cd
/usr/local/lib/gcc-lib/sparc-sun-solaris2.10/3.3.2/install-tools
 ./mkheaders

I'm not a Solaris person so unless you understand what's
going on, you would be wise to consult with sunfreeware.com
first.
