Nessusd fails to start with File size limit exceeded

Just in case anybody else runs in to this, I am running Nessus on a Linux
(Fedora Core 2) box, this AM when I tried to start up nessusd it loaded all
of the plugins but then died with the error "File size limit exceeded".
Turns out that the nessusd.messages file had reached the file size
limitation on linux. I thought that the limit was four gigabytes for a file
single file, looks like 2 GB to me though 2147483647 was what an ls -la of
the file showed. 
 
Oh well, just a tip for anybody else who may run in to the same error.
