SSL testing with client authorization certs question?

Subject: SSL testing with client authorization certs question?
Date: Thu, 17 Feb 2005 08:46:56 -0800 (PST)
I want to test one of our servers which user a client
cert to grant access to the login page. I have a
certificate and private key in pem format that I can
use in firefox to access that site manually.

If under pref's in nessus I select the certificate and
private key. Give my pem password and provide the CA
chain , which BTW contains the root and sub CA certs.
Nessus freezes when I try scanning.

If there something I'm doing wrong or is nessus unable
to perform this task?
