Hi all,

It might be an interesting experience to hear what actually happens on
Microsoft Patch Tuesday.

It might be, but it varies from month to month and if there is pre-existing knowledge of the vulnerabilities. A much more boring story is when we find a hole, and have to wait six+ months (or longer) for someone to fix it.

How many open source submissions do you
actually receive on that day?

Renaud can comment on this. I don't track those statistics for Tenable because there are not that many.

How soon after a patch is released does a
test get deployed?

Depends on the patch. We strive for same-day.

Then how long do we have to wait until it is part of
the feed? I think the answer to the last question is 7 days if I recall
from an earlier post.

You are correct, seven days.
