I made a little headway by modifying the script to include the full path to the
mysql binary file. Everything appears to be ready, I restarted the nessusd
binary in daemon
mode, and was also able to start the nessus gui. What I am not sure about is,
how I access the web-interface. The only index.html file that I see is the
default page for
the Apache server. What should I be looking for, and/or how should I
access/configure it? Thanks.

I had the same problem because I installed mysql into /usr/local/mysql
I fixed by modifying the install.sh to use /usr/local/mysql/bin/mysql instead of
just mysql.
Or you can add your mysql location to the path

Hi there --
I am trying to install Inprotect via the install.sh script and am having a
problem when it comes time to enter the root password for the MySQL database. I
am providing the correct password
that I entered after the initial installation but I keep getting an access
denied message. What do I need to do to correct this? Thanks.
