Valid "Empy report" messages?

Subject: Valid "Empy report" messages?
Date: Fri, 7 Jan 2005 09:17:57 -0800 (PST)
All,

I've browsed through the archive a bit but have been
unable to find an answer to this question. I am
running 2.2.2a with good results against a variety of
hosts. However, with the same successful and
error-free setup there are certain hosts which
generate an "Empty Report" message. Are there any
instances where an empty report is a valid result of a
scan?

I've seen various responses in regards to nmap setup
or timing issues which can cause this message to occur
but, as the majority of hosts I've scanned are
successful, I don't believe this is the case in my
instance.

Thanks in advance,

Erin
