Can anyone point me in thr right direction please. I would like to

Trying hard to find docs but not any that give a step by step on how
to accomplsih this.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

He's not the only one. I bought the Nessus book hoping it would contain
this information, since there's no man page for the command line client, and
iffy documentation at best exists on the web. You can imagine my
dissapointment when there is only _one_ paragraph in the book which even
discusses running the command line client.

IMO, you're better off using NessusWX instead. We are a Unix shop here, so
are usually opposed to running Windows tools, however, in this case, the
functionality of the Windows tool far exceeds the GTK version (export to
SQL, marking false positives, etc.). I'm just glad I only have to scan ~80
hosts or I would be pulling my hair out trying to figure out how to automate
the scans.

It would still be nice to automate the scans and dump them directly into a
MySQL database. I think a business decision was made by Tenable to make
this difficult so you have to buy Lightning Console.

Luke
