So you are not angry at the new plugin policy per se but at facts
you've been thinking of. Blame me for _facts_ if you will, not for
imaginary stuff you come up with.

Let me clarify :

(a) We do NOT intend to close the access to the updated plugins and
make it a pay-for subscription entirely. Tenable's business model
is not about selling plugins - we have other great products out
there ;

(b) While (a) stands true, remember that we are purely acting
on good will. That is, I don't recall having signed any contract
with you saying that I'd provide you with all the newest plugins for
free for life. 

If tomorrow Tenable decided to close the access to the new plugins(*), 
we'd perfectly have the right to do so, and whether that'd make you happy
or not, you'd not really be in a position to complain about it, because
_we_ write the code, so _we_ decide how to release it.

If you're afraid of such a move and want a binding contract, then buy a plugin 
subscription, as they also garantee that we'll do our best to write new 
plugins (instead of eating donuts and watching TV all day).

(*) Note the use of the conditional tense to denote an hypothesis. This
is not on our roadmap.
