Total removal works too (but maybe it isn't so clean). A friend of mine prepared Nessus RPM for 9.2. (available by email, if somebody is interested). Thanks for help. kamil

["bash --version" will tell you.] One of the changes with the new version is that trap no longer allows the "trap signal" syntax when in POSIX mode. The solution is to use "-" as the argument (eg, "trap - 0"). George -- theall@tifaware.comThat solves the problem ! After adapting the trap syntax the installation is running through.
