The way I read the instructions was that I needed to run this command in
order to allow my client running on the machine with an ip of 192.168.0.2 to
get access to it...

I have both a root user and an additional user..

Is 192.168.0.2 an address for one of the machine's interfaces?

Are you trying to run this as something other than root?
