Kind of related to this issue, and a feature request....What I'd like
to see is a global scan preference that allows you to turn off
reporting of dependent plugin findings. For example when registry
scanning for MS vulnerabilities, I don't want all the dependent plugin
info reported - When scanning for MS04-028, I receive results for the
following plugins in addition to 14724:

14724 Buffer Overrun in JPEG Processing (833987) 

13855 Installed Windows Hotfixes 
10870 Login configurations 
10401 SMB Registry : NT4 Service Pack version 
10400 SMB accessible registry 
10428 SMB fully accessible registry 
10394 SMB log in 
11011 SMB on port 445 
10330 Services 
10150 Using NetBIOS to retrieve information from a Windows host
