Wwhich tools are there? As far as I know, the old L0pht AntiSniff only works an pre-2K-Windows, and the Linux derivative I tedted did not detect anything on my test setup. A Nessus tool would be welcome. Although I would prefer a constant scnanner that alarms immediately, if someone launches Ethereal or tcpdump on my network. -----Original Message----- From: Hugo van der Kooij [mailto:hvdkooij@vanderkooij.org] Sent: 16. syyskuuta 2004 00:09 To: Nessus@List.Nessus.Org Subject: Re: Promiscuous Mode detection On Wed, 15 Sep 2004, I was WE4SEL wrote:

Didn't find anything on that?
There are a number of tools to do just that. So I see little need to add such capabilities to Nessus. But feel free to write a nasl script to use 3rd party tools. _______________________________________________ Nessus mailing list Nessus@list.nessus.org http://mail.nessus.org/mailman/listinfo/nessus
