| Subject: | Does Nessus "nmap file" support UDP and TCP combos? |

...and if so, how do you get nmap to do two protocol scans in one? Basically I've just noticed that nmap seems a lot faster at scanning for open ports than Nessus (more likely: I know how to drive it better ;-), and it is improving my Nessus scan no end. Of course, I want everything, so I am wondering how to cover UDP as well. Can I just run "nmap" followed by "nmap -sU", pipe output to the same file, and get Nessus to load that? Is there a way of doing this? Really speaking, I just want Nessus to scan for DNS and IKE in addition to TCP scans ;-) Thanks! -- Cheers Jason Haar Information Security Manager, Trimble Navigation Ltd.
