I was surprised when I reviewed the "Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1 list of updates" @ http://support.microsoft.com/kb/824721 and found nearly all of the security hotfixes we've deployed in the past 2 years were missing. Thanks to my Microsoft TAM who pointed out there is another page for only the security related hotfixes that are included with SP1. http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/prodtech/windowsserver2003/sp1.mspx I could not find any links to this page from either the SP1 home or the Server 2003 home. -- NTBugtraq Editor's Note: Most viruses these days use spoofed email addresses. As such, using an Anti-Virus product which automatically notifies the perceived sender of a message it believes is infected may well cause more harm than good. Someone who did not actually send you a virus may receive the notification and scramble their support staff to find an infection which never existed in the first place. Suggest such notifications be disabled by whomever is responsible for your AV, or at least that the idea is considered. --
