Yes, apparently all users get the wizard regardless of privlege and can all cancel. A regular user can start the process and it will complete correctly. It doesn't matter if the machines are in a workgroup or a domain, I have a bit of both on this SUS server and they behaved the same. The problem has been confirmed with MS, and from what I've read this morning on the public MS newsgroups and other mailing lists a fix is scheduled to be deployed through SUS later today. Thanks for sharing this information with the list. Could you provide a little more detail about the circumstances in which this occurs? Does the Wizard start regardless of whether the user is in the local Administrators, Power Users, or Users groups? Can *all* users cancel the install? It probably doesn't have an impact but are the client computers members of an NT domain, Active Directory domain, or neither?
