Hi Frédéric,

Have you considered porting/testing on Solaris x86 as well? You can download
Solaris 8, 9, 10 for free.

The Solaris Express (beta Solaris, currently Solaris 10) site for SPARC/x86
is:
      http://wwws.sun.com/software/solaris/solaris-express/get.html

The Solaris 9 Companion CD for x86 contains gcc, etc, and runs under 10.

Yes, that is something I want to do, but I prefer to focus on on
system at a time. Currently, BSD and Linux should work fine. When
SPARC will be ok too, I can jump to another system (unless someone
does it ;-)

Anyway, as I want to look at Solaris more deeply, I'll look at both
x86 and SPARC arch.

BTW, if someone has the good docs on solaris admin, solaris kernel and
solaris programming, I am very interested ;-)
