http://www.newkerala.com/news.php?action=fullnews&id=93688 India News 24 Jan 2006 New Delhi: Twenty two officers from Indian law enforcement agencies today graduated from an Incident Response Course sponsored by the US State Department's Anti-terrorism Assistance Programme (ATA) which is viewed as a concrete example of strong bilateral ties and partnership against terrorism. The officers including Inspectors and Deputy Superintendents of Police were trained in areas including methodology of securing and preserving evidence at a cyber-terrorism crime scene and identifying and seizing digital evidence in accordance with generally-accepted methods and practices. The week-long course was conducted at the CBI Academy at Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh. During the course the officers were also educated on how to properly approach, document, sketch, photograph and search a terrorist crime scene containign suspect software and related software. The course is one of the ten such courses presented to the government of India in 2005 through the State Department's ATA programme.
