It may be that Avast is detecting trojanHunter's signature files or quarantine files. I've had similiar things happen in the past. Have you tried googling the two? On Mon, 28 Mar 2005 10:02:44 +0100, Nuno Costa <webcenter@sapo.pt> wrote:
hello all, i was reading a document saying very well about trojanHunter so i have download the software... i use avast anti-virus, its realy a good AV... i have install TrojanHunter everything was ok, when i start scanning, about 1min after the scan, avast detects a file DuvsiiM.exe in temp files, size= 10MB it says that is a trojan, so i have deleted, the file, but i was thinking what the hell this trojan cam from ?? i have check my download data, and was normal at the moment i have just downloaded 22MB, from the internet, was normal because i have made some other downloads... now some minutes later the compeuter turns off, and restarts, but not the normal restart, is turn off, like power-off, and turns on... i have monitoring the temperature, and next day he have turns off again i have check the temperature, and was ok... i was thinking about trojanHunter, because all of this have started when i run this software... and i have run it again... again, about 1min, the AV, detects another trojan with another name and the same size exactly, 10MB but it feels like a random-name.exe, i have deleted, i have stop trojanHunter scanner, and run it again, and happen again, another trojan with another name the same size... identified by the AV by trojan... i have check regedit-RUN-field, and nothing like trying to install that files... now i have uninstall the software and i will check if my computer restards again... anyone knows something about this ??
