[ISSForum] Scanner ping response tuning

Subject: [ISSForum] Scanner ping response tuning
Date: Thu, 8 Mar 2007 14:31:44 -0600
As I understand it, the ES scanner now has the ability to ping scan a
target set before running the assessment scans. Is it possible to tune
the ping parameters like number of pings to send and response time? My
goal is to speed up the time it takes to sweep class B networks where
the hosts are sparsely populated.
